HISTORY OF STAR-OHIO

During 2016-2017 school year, 73 early childhood special education teachers participated in STAR-Ohio (Sit Together and Read-Ohio). STAR-Ohio was supported by the Ohio Department of Education Straight A grant and aimed to promote the sustainability of STAR Read-Aloud Practices. In this innovative and scaled-up version of the STAR program, teachers received professional development and materials via an online portal.

Please note: If you were part of the 2016-2017 STAR-Ohio study, you cannot receive Ohio Approved/SUTQ credit for the updated full professional development module. However, you can receive additional credit for taking our extended family engagement and scaffolding modules.
